Hands-on HR is more than just a Consultancy who advises clients on their HR Strategy. Our “hands-on” business philosophy focuses on the practical responsibilities involved in managing people within the small and medium business environments, who we find are often unable to invest in master class HR expertise on an ongoing basis. As seasoned HR Professionals with practical experience in developing, executing and managing the tasks within the human resources portfolio of organisations we are qualified to support you in executing these tasks virtually in the form of either ad-hoc HR projects or on a retained service basis.
Hands-on HR is comprised of two divisions; Human Resources Management and Workplace Wellness.
Our Human resources management division provides HR management support to SME’s which includes advisory and mentorship of day to day people management challenges, the development of Human resources strategy, policy, performance management, statutory compliance and annual submissions, and labour law compliance consulting, Our clients rely on our people management expertise to streamline their HR processes thereby improving compliance and reducing any potential legal risk.
The workplace wellness division, Wise Worx Warriors (W.W.W.), is focused on the mental, emotional, social, spiritual, and environmental dimensions of wellness. In partnership with our clients we address organisational culture and values through engagement surveys, and strategise and facilitate employee wellness initiatives to incorporate into your business. We facilitate Employee Wellness days, and provide Hands-on Workspace (H.O.W.) design services addressing environmental wellness.

About the founder– Natalie Leach
Natalie is energised by mobilising people, excited about change and making a difference in organisations and human lives. Adaptability to change speaks to our ability to succeed in achieving our goals. If we are able to roll with the punches, take risks and look for the opportunities in every situation, then we are better positioned to succeed.
Her exposure to practicing human resources for two decades in organisations in various sectors in different life stages, in both Corporate’s and small and medium size business mastered her HR skillset. Whilst in-house managing the day to day operations she found that the much needed HR projects were put on the back burner due to limited capacity and financial constraints. This is where Hands-on HR comes in, to partner with SME’s and or task teams to execute on your projects Or as retained services you require for an agreed term, allowing you affordable access to an HR expert as and when required.
Natalie obtained a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management and Professional registration as a Chartered Human Resources Professional with the South African Board of People Practices (SABPP) and Ex-Officio Commissioner of Oaths.
She believes that if we want to optimize growth in our businesses we need to adapt to the new world of work, shifting from traditional HR approaches to agile people practices embracing change to optimize our productivity.
